Problem when not setting up an account

I completed a donation using the app using an email where I did not set up a donor account (I did not set a password). Later, I attempted to set up a donor account (sign-up) using this same email. It would not let me establish an account with that email, it said it was already in use, but since there was no password set with the initial donation, there was no way to log in with this email. I tried the "Forgot your password?" option but it did not send me a reset recovery email. This is a problem if a donor sends us a "one-time" donation and then later wants to make another donation or set up a recurring donation.

We are not able to duplicate the problem that you're reporting here. The eGiving coach that you've been working with is reaching out to you to get more information and get this reported if it is determined to be an issue.
