No protection disclaimer on church directories accessed through Access ACS

Our online church directory does not have a disclaimer that this directory may not be used for solitication purposes. A church member took this directory and used it for a mass mailing for a personal need. We are surprised that ACS does not automatically have such a disclaimer on the directories and ask that one be added for the security of our parishioners. This could be a deal breaker for us concerning continued use of ACS. Thank you for your attention to this very serious matter

Indeed! This would be very helpful.
It could be a option to turn on in the directory setting.

Church specific disclaimer needed on specific screens on Access ACS.

How can we insert a disclaimer of sorts onto specific screens on Access ACS? We have had a church member use the availability of emails acquired from Access ACS to mass email all our church body on a personal opinion as regards to church decisions. We need to be able to include a disclaimer on the directory screen that states something like "An individual's personal contact data, home address or email addresses are not to be used for mass mailings or mass emails of a personal or for-profit nature." Is this possible?

On the next Access ACS release coming later this year, you will be able add a customized message to display at the bottom of the printed online directory.  The message will be limited to 255 characters so go ahead and be working on the message you want to display that will fit if you don't already have one. :) I will post an update when we have a release date.

Hi all! The Sept. 2018 Access ACS release included ability to enter a customized message that will display at the bottom of the directory. Check out the release notes for details on how to set up the customized message and other features included on this upgrade.
