Make Facilitator Name, etc. optional in Facility Scheduler Release

With the latest FS release, there are 3 new fields for Facilitator Name, Facilitator Email, and Facilitator Phone.  Would like for these to be made optional, because before this enhancement, we already had fields for all of these set up in the Event Type Fields.  We have a lot of history that we'd lose if I deleted those fields.  But I don't need 2 sets.  So making the new ones optional would be my preference.  Site 100014

Hi John,

Many of our clients only used Event Type Fields for getting the Facilitator Name, Email and Phone.  For that reason, we added it to the actual Facility Scheduler Event form.  By putting it here, we are now able to allow you to include it on reports, queries and exports.  We have also pre-populated registrations when you first enable it.  You can even search events by facilitator. This could not be done before. This opens a lot of doors and we hope makes it better for you.

Our recommendation:
  1. Rename the current event type to old event type.
  2. Use the standard event type if no other fields were added.
  3. Recreate the current event type without the facilitator fields.
You will not lose any data.  It will be connected to the old event type.  If you are concerned that you have your employees trained to use a specific event type, Facility Scheduler will all you to create an event type with no fields.  You will not get a blank section.  The application just ignores it when you don't have fields added.

We know it might be a little work if you have a lot of event types, but we feel it would be to your advantage to make this change to gain the rewards.

Making these new fields optional is not planned so we hope our recommendation works for you.
