Abundant Receipt Number for ACS imports

When importing Abundant records into ACS, we need to have the Abundant Receipt number as the Reference Number on the csv file record so we can match that against the original giving record of the Abundant donor.  This is needed for auditing purposes.

Hi Rick - Thank you for the feedback/suggestion. Our developers will review this request and I'll post an update when/if it is planned for release.

We are just beginning to use Abundant giving and when working with the files, the first thing I noticed was that it did not bring over the receipt # into the reference #.

To me, this receipt # takes the place of the check # when importing from our ACS Speedcheck.  We really need this ability as proposed by Rick Schauer 6 months ago and should be reviewed by your programers for implementation ASAP.

As it stands now, I will have to MANUALLY copy-paste this information for each gift and that will take more of my already full schedule in order to have a true audit trail.

PLEASE update this.

SECOND REQUEST

Callled ACS support this day and had 2 questions, neither of which the current program can facilitate:

1.  Still cannot get the "receipt number" to populate the "Reference #".  This is a vital AUDIT trail and needs to be fixed immediately. The donors use that number from their receipt to communicate with me, and your program does not bring it across on the Abundant import.

2.  Because the Reference # does not populate, I have to manually copy-paste to bring that information over to my ACS file but... from the website data there is NOT a downloadable button and the print button does not bring the entire data into view.  I have to copy-paste in XL and then reformat the data by taking out garbage that would not be there were there a downloadable button.

After a  (2nd) lengthy conversation in regard to trouble ticket 4709597 with Michael O'Quinn  (today) who was concurrently talking with Sammy Lynch (sp?) Product line supervisor I was told this, too, was not available.  During the training of the ACS personnel  there was a CSV downloadable button.  Between the training and the release of the product, the CSV downloadable button was removed. Put it back.  It is ridiculous that we cannot download the file to facilitate audit backup in formation.

I would appreciate feedback that is not a canned response, please.

Hi Donna,

We have a meeting planned soon to discuss this request along with others for Abundant. I haven't posted an update because there isn't one until they have the meeting and decide what will be done and possible timeframe. As soon as I have an update to share, I will post one. And this is not a canned response - the request is truly still in the review process.
